Having just celebrated our 40th last year, 2026 will be a year where we gather for brotherhood and fellowship with each other and other alumni.  We have a vibrant college chapter that is stronger than ever and they are excited to welcome alumni on the mountain for this exciting weekend.  Activities planned include:

• 10:00am - 5:00pm - Brotherhood Smoke and Campus / King Street visit [Peabody]

• 9:00pm - 1:00am- The African American Alumni Network Welcome Mixer [Upstairs on King]

Saturday

• 10:00am - Whenever - Annual Pi Nu Alumni Tailgate [NPHC Plots]

• 3:30pm - AppState vs Old Dominion [Kidd Brewer Stadium]

• 7:30pm - NPHC Step Show [I.G. Greer]

• 10:00pm - Delta Sigma Theta Anniversary Celebration Party [South End Brewery]

HOST LODGING

The brothers have secured four cabin/condo units at Chetola as our host headquarters.  Additional condos can be arranged or single room hotel lodging if interested.  Contact Brother Isenhour if needing lodgin.

PI NU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The homecoming steering committee along with advisement from representatives of the founding line and the new Pi Nu Chapter Advisory team are in discussions to launch the Pi Nu Alumni Association.  Many will remember we discussed this at the 35th Anniversary Celebration in Charlotte.  That discussion is finally coming to fruition with efforts to establish the PNAA structure.  A portion of the 2026 Homecoming Registration fee will be allocated to the PNAA efforts as our annual membership dues.  The PNAA will be an organizational effort for us as alumni members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Pi Nu Chapter, to more formally bond together to provide support for our collegiate chapter and brothers while also allowing us to better operate activities like homecoming, reunions, and the Pi Nu Retreat.  A initial priority goal will be to bring back the Pi Nu Retreat by no later than 2028.  Starting in 2027 the PNAA will ask alumni for an annual contribution that will be strictly regulated with the explicit purpose of supporting our collegiate chapter.  To learn more about this effort please reach out to Brother Elson Baldwin.
